Paul Rummell is one of the leading IT professionals in North America.  Paul has over 30 years experience as an IT business leader, strategist, innovator and project manager in the private and public sectors.  He was the first Chief Information Officer for the Government of Canada and has testified before the United States Congress on establishing a federal CIO. He was a Senior Partner with a major consulting practice leading their IT Strategy and Transformation Groups.

Paul has extensive experience in applied information technologies and delivery platforms.  During his career Mr. Rummell has also very successfully managed many major projects of up to $500M.  He has had a broad exposure to financial reporting, controls, project management, quality assurance, testing, hardware and software, network technologies and electronic commerce, consistently has proving to be an innovative catalyst in applying and managing these technologies in a wide variety of complex business and systems environments. 

Paul has been working with some major delivery organizations over the last few years to transform and reshape their operations.  These companies have included EDS Canada, Cap Gemini Ernst & Young and the Meta Group.  Mr. Rummell returned to advisory practice following a term as the Chief Information Officer for the Government of Canada.  In that position he managed a $4 billion budget and 16,000 technical staff.  Prior to being CIO for Canada, Paul was in charge of the Ernst & Young Pacific Rim IT Strategy Consulting Practice and he was with KPMG Consulting for 11 years.  In addition, Mr. Rummell managed major systems groups for a major US bank and insurance company.  He is in demand as a speaker, contributes to the press on a regular basis and he is a trusted advisor for executives and officials.
